Sherman's March to The Sea
While Grant was attemoting to capture Richmond in the north, he sent William Tecumsuh Sherman to "clear" the south.He chased the Confederate army around trying tolure them in to fight. While the confederate ran Sherman wiped out evrything in his pathway. 100,000 troops took Alanta in 1864 and bunt half the city to the ground. They continued toward Savannah on the coast of the Atlantic. This was the last demanding blow to the south.
